Tag: saw the pump wasn’t running

Posted on January 11, 2012

Stuck on the side of the road. :( I was down in Alexandria and the fuel was low, so I pulled into a gas station, swiped my card, put the pump in the car and began fueling, and then ran out of the rain into the store to grab some cashews (I hadn’t eaten anything today). Once I got the nuts, I ran back out, saw the pump wasn’t running, jumped in the car and took off. I was in a rush because Tamika has practice tonight with the band from church, so I guess I didn’t notice that the tank wasn’t full. The LED lights that illuminate our dashboard are dying, and the one that lights up the gas gauge is completely out. I ran dry in Savage, MD. Fortunately, we still have the AT&T Roadside Assistance that Tamika’s mom insisted we get, so a truck is on its way out to come help me out. #gas #brokendown #subaru
